Why We Built This Site
Connecticut gives the public broad access to many court and government records, including public agency records under C.G.S. Sec. 1-210 and copy requests under C.G.S. Sec. 1-212. The hard part in Meriden is figuring out which office holds the file. Superior Court case information runs through the Judicial Branch and the clerk at 54 West Main Street. City records, land records, marriage licenses, and vital records go through the Meriden City Clerk. Police reports and arrest records are handled by the Police Records Division at 50 West Main Street, while probate matters are handled by Meriden Probate Court at City Hall.
